Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking experienced disability support workers to join our team at Able Australia. As a disability support worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities.

About the Role:

This is a casual position that requires a minimum of 3 shifts per week. The roster includes a range of shifts, including sleepovers. You will be supporting and encouraging our clients to participate in day-to-day activities based on their hobbies, interests, and goals set within their NDIS support plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing active support to clients in their homes and communities
  • Developing skills, independence, and friendships with clients
  • Supporting clients to participate in day-to-day activities based on their interests and goals
  • Working collaboratively with the team to achieve client outcomes
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 shifts per week availability
  • Experience providing support to others in disability, aged care, community, or allied health settings
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and documentation in a client management tool/CRM
  • Right to work in Australia and NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Valid First Aid & CPR
