Construction Project Manager for Mining Operations

Job Summary:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the construction management of a mining project, with a focus on achieving site delivery and ensuring quality outcomes.
About the Role:
- Lead a team of professionals responsible for site construction, commissioning, quality assurance, health and safety, environment, planning and cost control, camp management, and services.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Control and draft service orders and purchase notes as required.
- Monitor and report on health and safety, quality, and environmental deviations, ensuring adherence to established norms and procedures.
- Provide regular reports to the Project Construction Director and Area Managers.
- Coordinate with company functional areas and track physical progress and certifications.
- Participate in regular meetings and generate reports as required.
Requirements:
- Engineer or equivalent degree with extensive experience (>20 years) in managing large-scale construction projects (mining, oil & gas, or comparable).
- Proven knowledge of project management, contracts administration, leadership, planning, quality control, HSE, and environmental practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, contractor management, and client liaison capabilities.
- Fluent English language skills are essential.
