Job Description

This is a highly technical and strategically oriented role that leads the development, implementation, and management of systematic market-making strategies across various financial markets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development and Optimization: Design and refine market-making strategies to provide liquidity and capture spreads in the market. Focus on continuous improvement by regularly backtesting and stress-testing models to adapt to changing market conditions and enhance profitability.
  • Risk Management: Establish and enforce robust risk management parameters tailored to market-making activities, balancing liquidity provision with acceptable risk levels. Monitor and manage exposure, keeping a close eye on inventory positions, market exposure, and potential adverse events, ensuring that risk limits are respected.
  • Technology and Infrastructure Management: Work with IT and engineering teams to develop and maintain ultra-low latency trading infrastructure, which is crucial for efficient market-making. Optimize trading algorithms to reduce latency, enhance execution quality, and minimize slippage. Leverage automation to improve operational efficiency, allowing traders and quants to focus on high-value tasks.
