Client Therapist Opportunity

This role offers the chance to practice in a supportive, inclusive environment with established networks for client referrals.

  • Experience in private practice and evidence-based therapy services is required. The ideal candidate can confidently work with adult clients, preferably those with neurodiversity and complex trauma.
  • The successful applicant must be available for at least 2 or 3 client days per week, one of which should be a Saturday. Evening and out-of-hours sessions are also optional.
  • We support our clinicians to upskill or build their client lists according to their interests.
  • The job requires alignment with our values: delivering holistic practices via a neuroaffirming, non-pathologising, trauma-informed lens.
  • A strong knowledge of neuroaffirming and trauma-informed frameworks is preferable but not essential.
  • EMDR training is desirable but not necessary.
  • Applicants must hold an individual ABN, be eligible for Medicare-rebated services, and have professional indemnity/public liability insurance.
  • The service fee arrangement includes superannuation at 12%.

Our Space
  • The room is located within a wellness studio in a central New Farm location.
  • Features include comfortable furniture, airconditioning, tea, fidgets, ergonomic desks, computer screens, printers, and well-resourced therapy tools.
  • No administrative staff are on-site, but established processes ensure seamless client access and flow.
