About the Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale web applications with a focus on e-commerce. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of ReactJS framework and REST APIs, as well as experience in OOP in the ECMAScript 6 stack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop reliable and maintainable code always looking for architectural improvements.
  • Stay in tune with the latest technologies, proactively identify areas for improvement and propose viable solutions.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to implement designs under the clean code principle and utilize tools to measure and track code quality.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of several years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications, preferably involving e-commerce.
  • Extensive knowledge of ReactJS framework and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with common front-end development tools like Webpack, NPM, YARN, SASS, LESS.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to self-manage.
Desirable Skills:
  • OOP in the ECMAScript 6 stack using a modern frontend framework such as React or Flux.
  • Unit Testing (Mocha, Jasmine)
  • Integration Testing (Cypress)
  • Designing and implementing RESTFul APIs.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
