Senior Construction Director Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Director to lead and oversee the construction process of residential projects.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee the entire construction process from pre-construction planning to project completion.
  • Ensure that all construction activities meet or exceed quality standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
  • Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in residential construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
