As a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our high-end automated material handling solutions.

About the Role:

This position involves conducting regular electrical maintenance inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. You will work closely with our team to diagnose and repair electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Electrical Systems: Conduct routine checks and perform repairs as needed to prevent downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Diagnose Electrical Issues: Use your expertise to identify and troubleshoot electrical problems, working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and ensure that all electrical work is performed in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Support Team Efforts: Assist with mechanical duties as needed, demonstrating a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold an electrical qualification (Cert III in Electrotechnology) and contractor/supervisor license.
  • Experience: Possess 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Service Engineer/Technician.
  • Industrial Controls: Have a strong understanding of industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.).
  • Educational Background: Hold a dual trade certificate (electrical and mechanical), which is highly regarded.
Position Requirements:
  • Australia Security Clearance: Obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card for Sydney Airport.
  • Background Checks: Pass criminal and ID checks to verify work entitlements in Australia.
  • Health and Safety: Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and pass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
