Mental Health Social Care Professional

We are seeking an experienced mental health social care professional to join our dynamic team at the Royal North Shore Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services to consumers across the Mental Health Inpatient Units.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide expert social work services to inpatients of the Mental Health Inpatient Unit and community mental health consumers.
- To work collaboratively with other service partners to promote recovery-oriented and innovative approaches to care.
- To develop and implement structured activities, rehabilitation programs, and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
- To participate in quality activities conducted within the clinical setting and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated extensive specialist knowledge in the provision of evidence-based social work interventions in an inpatient mental health setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and professional development.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including ability to engage and collaborate with consumers, families, and carers.
