About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Support Project Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of projects that make a real difference in the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff and training within a high-performing team, working under an integrity framework. They will also support state-wide project delivery, governance and provide critical support to a divisional network across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking moderately complex work
  • Following direction from senior officers and communicating it to others
  • Managing your workflow autonomously and making decisions based on defined legislative parameters
  • Supporting planning and administration for medium to large scale projects
  • Monitoring task progress and conducting quality assurance activities to ensure delivery of projects
  • Supervising a team and providing performance-based coaching

This role requires full-time hours and is office-based, with the option for occasional travel to remote and vulnerable communities. Applicants must be Australian citizens and have the right to work in Australia.
