Job OverviewThe cybersecurity architect will lead the development of secure high-performance solutions across our product suite embedded within our software department reporting to the head of information technology.

This is a strategic role that requires passion for cybersecurity cloud architecture and making a real impact through innovative mining technology.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with software and IT teams to embed security into design development and delivery.
  • Lead the design and implementation of security controls across cloud on-premises and hybrid environments.
  • Conduct threat modelling risk assessments and security reviews for new and existing systems.
  • Define and enforce security architecture principles standards and policies.
  • Champion secure development practices DevSecOps SDLC and mentor technical teams.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies e.g SIEM EDR Zero Trust frameworks.
  • Translate security strategy into actionable architecture and reusable design patterns.
  • Support incident response and forensic investigations as a subject matter expert.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years in cybersecurity roles including 2+ years in security architecture or senior engineering.
  • Degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity Software Engineering or related field.
  • Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty CISSP or CISM are highly desirable.
  • Deep expertise in cloud security AWS/Azure identity and access management and compliance frameworks ISO 27001 NIST.
  • Experience with secure development practices and DevSecOps.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence across technical and business teams.
