Job Opportunity

Seeking a skilled and experienced Continence Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

  • This position involves carrying out comprehensive assessments, developing care plans, and delivering specialist education and advice to colleagues and clients regarding continence management and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough and evidence-based assessments to inform treatment and care planning.
  2. Participate in patient goal setting at multidisciplinary case review meetings, ensuring collaborative and effective care delivery.
  3. Provide expert advice and education to colleagues and clients on continence management and pelvic floor rehabilitation strategies.
  4. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the Continence and HIP Programs.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Postgraduate qualification in the treatment of continence and pelvic floor disorders.
  • Highly developed organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work autonomously and within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing specialist education and advice to colleagues and clients.
  • Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain.

The Continence Clinic is a specialist service providing assessment and management of bladder and bowel issues or pelvic floor dysfunction. Our team consists of nurses, physiotherapists, geriatricians, and administrative staff, working together to deliver high-quality care.
