Continence Physiotherapy Specialist

The Continence Clinic offers a collaborative environment where you can apply your expertise in assessment and management of clients with specific continence conditions.

  • You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, care planning, and treatment to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Apart from providing specialist education and advice, you will also participate in patient goal setting at multidisciplinary case review meetings.
  • Your role will involve working autonomously and within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services.

This specialist service applies a multi-disciplinary team approach to the assessment and management of bladder and bowel issues or pelvic floor dysfunction. We service adults in various geographic locations.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate highly developed organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance the Continence and HIP Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to set and achieve treatment goals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case review meetings to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide specialist education and advice to colleagues and clients on continence management and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
