Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description:

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards across their development and production lifecycle.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will draw on your engineering expertise to review customer purchase orders, conduct technical investigations, and support the delivery of solutions that align with our commitment to quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing customer purchase orders and conducting technical investigations to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Supporting the delivery of solutions that align with our commitment to quality, safety, and performance
  • Acting as a key interface between quality control and assurance functions, managing documentation, non-conformance reports, and technical investigations
  • Engaging directly with suppliers and customers, leading quality process improvements, and contributing to broader business development initiatives

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you will need to have a solid foundation in quality systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards. You should understand how to interpret and apply technical requirements and have the confidence to make informed decisions within your discipline.

Additionally, you should bring structured thinking and clear communication to every task. Your proactive mindset and attention to detail will enable you to identify opportunities to improve processes, deliver sustainable solutions, and support the long-term goals of our organization.

  • A good understanding of design, analysis, manufacturing, and support techniques throughout the engineering product lifecycle
  • Knowledge of engineering reports/technical writing in an engineering environment
  • A good understanding of Product Safety and Quality Processes
  • Awareness of the principles of technical risk management
  • Awareness of Configuration Management Processes
  • An understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation, and analysis software)
  • Able to deliver communications effectively within a cross-functional environment
