Solution Architect – Core Data Platforms

We're seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our squad. This role involves designing and delivering high-impact solutions using Databricks and modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include defining solution architectures, leading the design and integration of Databricks solutions, championing reuse, scalability, security, and compliance in every design, providing technical leadership to project teams, and ensuring architecture alignment.

  • Define solution architectures across current, transitional, and future states.
  • Lead the design and integration of Databricks solutions for Core Data Platforms.
  • Champion reuse, scalability, security, and compliance in every design.
  • Provide technical leadership to project teams and ensure architecture alignment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, ideally within financial services.
  • Minimum 5 years in IT, with 3+ years in architecture or design roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Databricks, cloud platforms, data architecture, and APIs.
  • Experience architecting using cloud-based data platforms.
  • Background in software design, agile methodologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • TOGAF certification or equivalent (preferred).

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to work across multiple squads and balance business outcomes with technical depth.
