Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Spirits Blender to join our team and assist in the production of high-quality spirits.

  • Sensory analysis of work-in-progress distilled spirits
  • Development of limited release and core finished products from components
  • Quality assurance management on bottling line functions and product raw materials
  • Inventory availability forecasting and reporting
  • Daily sensory panel participation and facilitation for work-in-progress and finished products
  • Maintenance of precise quantitative and qualitative records
  • Regulatory compliance with inventory management and WH&S procedures
About This Role

To succeed, you will require strong sensory acuity, experience in tasting and analyzing spirits, and excellent analytical skills.

Familiarity with Excel and communication skills are essential for this position.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Screening sensory attributes of work in progress distilled spirits
  • Generating limited release and core finished products from work-in-progress components
  • Managing quality assurance on bottling line functions and product raw materials
  • Managing inventory availability forecasts and reports
  • Participating and running daily sensory panels for work-in-progress and finished products
  • Taking and maintaining precise quantitative and qualitative records
  • Regulatory recordkeeping and inventory management compliance
  • Maintenance of a safe work environment by adhering to WH&S procedures
Requirements

You must have:

  • Formal qualifications in sensory analysis, food science, distilling or engineering are desirable
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly
