Election Project Manager

The Australian Electoral Commission is a statutory authority maintaining an impartial electoral system.

As an Assistant Team Leader, you will join a network ensuring the proper conduct of elections and upholding the Electoral Integrity Framework.
You will work with State Office, National Office, and other states and territories, supporting the Team Leader in leadership and management of staff.
The role includes managing legislative responsibilities, delivering public services, and planning and executing large-scale projects.
Key functions include team management, project delivery, communication with stakeholders, and collaboration with key teams.
During federal events, you may act as an APS6 Divisional Returning Officer for one of Victoria's 39 electoral divisions.

- Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and deliver projects
Eligibility requirements include being an Australian citizen, undergoing character clearance, and obtaining security clearance required for the role.
