We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to work as a Nursing Assistant in our dynamic healthcare setting.
This permanent part-time role offers flexibility with a variety of shifts on a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess donor suitability and eligibility for blood donation
- Create a positive donor experience through exceptional customer service skills
- Perform routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests to ensure donor safety
- Set up equipment for blood collection procedures
- Insert and remove needles safely during blood collection
- Monitor donors post-donation and facilitate rebooking as needed
Training and Qualifications:
- Paid and flexible training combines self-paced online learning with hands-on practice
- Be comfortable with medical procedures involving blood and biological materials
- Lift up to 22.7 kgs occasionally
- Foster a positive team culture and support colleagues
