Emergency Nurse

Collarcare is partnering with health services across Australia to seek Registered Nurses for hospital contracts in NSW. As an Emergency & General Medical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions. You will work in both emergency and general medical units, responding to urgent situations and providing continuous care to stabilize and treat patients.
About the Role- Provide high-quality patient care in emergency and general medical settings.
- Assess and diagnose patients' health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Respond to emergencies and provide timely and effective interventions.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Triage experience and/or certification.
- Current National Police Check.
- NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- ALS, BLS, and PALS Certification.
- 1 year of experience working in an Australian Health Setting.
- Previous experience in emergency and general medical nursing is highly desirable.
- Regional contracts and ad-hoc shifts available.
- Schedule flexibility for AM/PM/Nights and Rotating rosters.
