Global Engagement Coordinator

The role of the Global Engagement Coordinator is to support the planning and delivery of high-impact international events, contributing directly to South Australia's global engagement strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate travel bookings, accommodation, and itineraries for Ministerial and business delegations
  • Prepare meeting briefings, schedules, collateral, and travel documentation
  • Develop creative concepts for networking events and manage end-to-end project delivery and post-event analysis
  • Support event logistics including venue research, branded materials, and stakeholder liaison
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Assist in preparing high-quality briefings and correspondence aligned with government priorities

Key competencies include:

  • Proven experience in coordinating complex events and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Strong understanding of cultural and industry contexts in international engagement
  • Knowledge of government event protocols, sponsorship guidelines, and reporting processes
  • Proficiency in event and marketing software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills

Essential qualifications: None

Desirable qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Event Management, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
