Role Overview

Our multidisciplinary team requires an experienced Speech Therapist based in the Ballarat area.

The successful candidate will focus on supporting clients living in Ballarat and surrounding locations, with the capacity to provide a full-time or part-time position for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload and providing timely therapeutic supports
  • Delivering speech therapy services to clients within schools, homes, and the broader community
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
  • Assessing clients' communication and/or swallowing level of function and capacity using clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence

Qualifications
  • Degree qualified Speech Pathologist
  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
