We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Officeworks Ltd. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and implementing a data ecosystem using AWS and Snowflake to support our analytics roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Ecosystem Design: Design and develop analytical data assets and processes to support the analytics roadmap.
- Data Pipelines: Build and maintain data pipelines ensuring data integrity and smooth deployment.
- Collaboration: Work with Data & Analytics teams to productise models and implement solutions.
- Governance: Ensure data management follows best practices and is compliant with security and governance standards.
- Automation: Maintain a continuous deployment pipeline and automated testing processes.
You're a results-oriented professional with a collaborative mindset. You're technically skilled in AWS, Snowflake, and data engineering, and thrive in cross-functional environments. You have experience working in both traditional and agile delivery methods and are passionate about data-driven innovation.
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing
- Strong Experience with AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and Python
- Proficient in Python, SQL, Spark
- Strong ETL and data modeling skills
- Knowledge of machine learning, data mining, or natural language processing
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or IT
