Business Development Opportunity

This role leads central business development function, securing and retaining key business in Australia.

Key responsibilities include initiating, coordinating and developing strategic funding proposals targeted at Commonwealth, State and Territory governments.

  • Drive strategic planning and revenue generation, supporting partnership development
  • Facilitate robust decision-making with senior leaders, executives and board members
  • Maintain full business development lifecycle from capture to retention, monitoring win rates and evaluating return on investment
Requirements and Responsibilities

Coordinate high-quality tenders and proposals that meet funder requirements.

Manage multi-disciplinary bid teams including technical, financial and operational experts.

Monitor ROI, revenue targets and financial ratios with finance and operational leaders.

Actively lead and develop capability of bid writers.

Skills and Experience

Experience in high value funding acquisition with government, preferably in Australian children and family services sector or similar.

Negotiate effectively, problem-solve, manage change and competing interests.

Present complex ideas clearly tailored to executive and board audiences.
