Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Wells and Gathering Mechanical Technicians to join our team in the Surat Basin. The ideal candidate will have experience in executing preventative and maintenance tasks on wells and gathering, with a strong focus on safety and technical assistance.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  1. Execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on wells and gathering, ensuring safe and effective work practices.
  2. Plan and coordinate urgent corrective work as required.
  3. Inspect, test, adjust, and repair equipment to meet governing standards.
  4. Work within OEM guidelines and provide expert advice on lifecycle management.
  5. Monitor and execute maintenance activities to achieve high standards of reliability and availability.
  6. Maintain and manage maintenance registers and databases for site-specific equipment and systems.
  7. Ensure compliance with manufacturers' guidelines, maintenance agreements, and warranties.
  8. Participate in equipment performance checks and maintain accurate records through effective documentation.
  9. Liaise with equipment manufacturers for support where applicable.
  10. Develop and advise procedures and schedules for maintenance activities.
  11. Assist with day-to-day coordination of the Wells and Gathering Maintenance Team and mentor others to ensure skill development within the team.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
  • Strong understanding of OEM guidelines and governing standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of fault-finding skills and ability to troubleshoot autonomously.
