Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Engineer – Skip the Wait, Step Up Now

Our client is building a new Brisbane office with the backing of a respected, family-owned building services consultancy — and people from across the local market are already making the move. You'll work alongside a well-known, well-liked local mechanical engineer — someone with a solid reputation, laid-back style, and a genuine focus on engineering over sales talk. You'll get real mentorship while being trusted to step up, lead parts of projects, and work directly with clients.

You'll need:

  • 4–8+ years' experience in building services mechanical engineering (HVAC, ventilation, and related systems)
  • Strong design skills from concept through to detailed documentation
  • Familiarity with NCC, Section J, and relevant Australian Standards (AS1668, AS3666, etc.)
  • Experience with energy efficiency analysis and compliance reports
  • Proficiency in ACADS-BSG Camel and exposure to software like DesignBuilder or BERS Pro
  • Ability to liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors, and manage projects to deadlines
  • A collaborative approach, with the confidence to take on more responsibility than in a typical mid-level role
