Lead Academic Position

The role of Lead Academic is a leadership position within the educational faculty, responsible for curriculum development and oversight, team management and coordination, and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.

This position involves working with students and requires the appointee to have a passion for mentoring staff and students so that they are well known, well loved, and well taught.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing student and teacher learning and wellbeing outcomes
  • Demonstrating high-quality teaching as described by professional standards
  • Receiving feedback on teaching and leadership, and implementing changes
  • Effectively planning and running events and carnivals in a range of sports
  • Analysing educational data, and devising strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes

The ideal candidate will have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications, and accreditation (or be eligible).

They will also be able to work within a school environment that has a clear Christian vision and a strong Christian culture.
