Job Title: Green Space Maintenance Specialist
About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in maintaining and enhancing green spaces across council-controlled roadsides and open spaces within Brisbane.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Operating mowing equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performing regular maintenance and inspections of equipment
  • Maintaining high standards of lawn and green space appearance
  • Completing service requests as necessary
  • Following safety protocols and procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in zero turn mowing and brush cutting of open spaces
  • Valid Manual Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
