Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior technical professional to lead the development of our nation-shaping maritime program. As a key member of our team, you will set the technical direction, bring cross-functional teams together, and ensure designs are integrated, safe, and ready for service.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Provide technical leadership and design authority across multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Drive systems engineering best practices across the lifecycle, ensuring designs are integrated, verified, and fit for purpose
  • Lead design governance and reviews, manage risk/issue resolution, and champion safety and certification outcomes
  • Oversee configuration/change control and ensure high-quality engineering plans, processes, and documentation
  • Engage confidently with customers, primes, and internal stakeholders to align priorities and clear blockers

About You

  • 10+ years in complex systems engineering (maritime/defense/regulated industries ideal) with proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Track record guiding platform-level integration, assurance, and delivery in high-consequence environments
  • Deep understanding of systems engineering and verification/validation; comfortable with design governance and change control
  • Clear communicator who builds trust with executives, customers, and delivery teams
  • Degree in Engineering (Chartered/Registered highly regarded)
