The Echo Entertainment Group is seeking a skilled Cook to join our Culinary team at The Star Sydney. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, using fresh ingredients and adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, suggesting new dishes and ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a positive dining experience.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
