We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Team Leader to oversee our warehouse operations in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, managing staff members, and maintaining high standards of productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse and delivery staff members.
  • Operate warehouse forklifts, with extensive experience on counter-balance and reach forklifts essential.
  • Assist with dispatch activities, including picking orders and checking inwards goods.
  • Maintain stock locations and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and couriers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Ensure the safe and secure operation of the warehouse, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with sales and procurement teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement and maintain electronic warehouse systems to optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A valid Victorian Drivers License is required.
  • LF Forklift License with extensive experience on both counter-balance and reach forklifts is essential.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role is necessary.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team, are crucial.
  • Knowledge of Hebel AAC or similar construction materials is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
  • A commitment to upholding safety and quality standards is paramount.
