Community Healthcare Specialist

The role of a Community Healthcare Specialist is pivotal in delivering high-quality clinical care and support for clients residing at home.

This encompasses wound management, medication administration, chronic disease support, and health assessments. They work autonomously, utilising their expertise and judgement to provide holistic, client-centric care with the backing of a connected and experienced team.

Collaborating with General Practitioners and allied healthcare professionals, they empower clients through education and promote their health and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will possess current registration with the relevant authority as a Registered Nurse, have a passion for delivering person-centred care in the community, experience in community nursing or a strong interest in aged care, excellent communication and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
