About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care. This will involve working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs, acting as a role model for safe practice, and delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care.
- Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care.
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs.
- Act as a role model for safe practice.
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery.
Requirements
- Authority to Work in Australia.
- Working with Children check (if relevant).
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent.
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a surgical environment advantageous.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused.
- In Charge experience will be very highly regarded (opportunity to step up if desired with training and development provided).
- Flexibility to work a 7-day roster.
