Established in Sydney Metro, our client is a reputable timber distributor known for its trusted brands and high-quality construction materials.

The company offers a diverse range of products including structural timber, architectural timber, finishing timber, lockup materials, Australian treated pine, and tools, hardware, and accessories.

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team due to business growth. This new position will play a key role in driving the company's expansion around Sydney Metro.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent a diverse range of timber products.
  • Quoting for clients and projects.
  • Attend prospect sites and client visits.
  • Work autonomously.
  • Have the flexibility to manage your own schedule.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team.
  • Convert sales and meet KPIs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional with demonstrated B2B experience within the building/construction industry. Ideally, candidates will have a strong understanding of timber products.

Requirements:
  • Previous sales experience within the timber industry.
  • A network of contacts with residential and/or commercial builders.
  • Driven to develop new business through clients and their own network.
  • Natural account manager and relationship developer.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Forward-thinking individual who can work autonomously as well as with a team and presents strong communication skills.
  • Hungry, motivated, and dedicated.
