Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant – Corporate and Tax to join our dynamic finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust tax compliance, and driving process improvements within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Corporate Accounting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Reconcile key accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/AASB).
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary support during audits.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Manage corporate tax obligations, including income tax, GST, and FBT compliance.
    • Prepare and lodge tax returns, BAS, and other statutory filings.
    • Monitor legislative changes to ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations.
  • Process Improvements:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting and tax compliance processes.
    • Drive automation and efficiency initiatives to streamline workflows.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance.
    • Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented financial professional with expertise in corporate accounting and tax compliance to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a CPA or CA qualification with strong post-qualification experience, proven expertise in financial reporting, corporate accounting, and tax compliance, proficiency in financial systems, and advanced Excel skills.
