Painter/Blaster Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Blasters to join our Service team in a newly built facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for dressing items with a grinder, performing routine maintenance of production tools, basic process planning, and operating hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dressing items with a grinder for paint prepping according to specifications set out on drawings.
  • Perform routine maintenance of production tools to specifications.
  • Basic process planning applicable to paint and blast shop planning activities.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools appropriate to the job.
  • Order materials for replacement of consumable items where needed.
  • Assist in the provision of on-the-job training when required.
  • Manual handling of loads with weights varying between 5-20kg.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience as a Painter.
  • Experience with blasting.
  • Good planning and organizing skills to meet deadlines.
  • Basic communication skills including reading.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
