Job SummaryWe are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work with children and adolescents in a range of developmental areas, including diagnostic assessment and evidence-based intervention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective psychological reports
- Providing evidence-based intervention and counselling via 1:1 sessions, telehealth, and group-based programs
- Conducting risk assessments and initiating harm minimisation strategies
- Ensuring maintenance of privacy and confidentiality in relation to client information
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Endorsement in educational and developmental psychology
- Prior relevant experience working with children, in schools, or in a private practice clinic
- A comprehensive understanding of the health issues impacting individuals with mental health concerns, ASD diagnosis, and/or ID/Cognitive Impairment
- Demonstrated skill in working as part of a multidisciplinary team
We offer a competitive salary, negotiable up to $101,000 (plus an additional $30,000 achievable through bonus structures), plus super. You will also receive:
- $2000 professional development allowance per annum (pro-rata if part-time)
- Travel allowances and support to travel nationally and internationally for conference attendance

- Weekly clinical supervision and ongoing in-house professional development
