The RoleWe are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work with children and adolescents in a range of developmental areas, including diagnostic assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cognitive Impairments, Learning/Development delays, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
You will conduct one-on-one counselling sessions, conduct psychological testing, provide parent/caregiver support, and write therapeutic reports as required.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary, negotiable up to $101,000 (plus an additional $30,000 achievable through bonus structures) plus super.
You will also receive:
- $2000 professional development allowance per annum (pro-rata if part-time)

- Weekly clinical supervision and ongoing in-house professional development
We are looking for a psychologist with:
- Endorsement in educational and developmental psychology
- Prior relevant experience working with children, working in schools, or in a private practice clinic
- A comprehensive understanding of the health issues impacting individuals with Mental Health concerns, ASD diagnosis, and/or ID/Cognitive Impairment
- Demonstrated skill in working as part of a multidisciplinary team with a sound understanding of your role as Psychologist delivering services to young people and their families
- Demonstrated experience/interest in the provision of clinical, evidence-based assessment and interventions with young people and their families that present with disabilities and mental health conditions
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written skills with particular emphasis on interpersonal communication skills, establishing trust and rapport, maintaining confidentiality, and record keeping
