Deputy Director of Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Nursing to join our team at an established Aged Care provider. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing staff to deliver exceptional care and services to residents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services, ensuring compliance with Aged Care industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Manager to ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse - AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a DDON in a large home.
  • In-depth understanding of all Aged Care accreditation standards.
  • Proven experience in being a part of a successful accreditation.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS, IPC, SIRS Reporting and complaints management.
  • Positive leader who is confident at leading a team from the front.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to lead & mentor teams.
