Senior Drill Fitting Technician Position Available

Job Role:
We are seeking a skilled Drill Fitter to provide technical expertise and support our operations personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and air systems, and undertaking major repairs and servicing of drilling and support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical guidance and support to operations personnel;
- Diagnostics of faults on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and air systems;
- Major repairs and servicing of drilling and support equipment;
- Effective management of documentation and reporting as per client requirements;
- Ensuring equipment is maintained safely and timely to increase productivity;
- Undertaking necessary risk and pre-task assessments;
- Attending site emergency breakdowns.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in surface or underground drilling;
- Experience with Sandvik, Normet, Atlas Copco / Epiroc, Elphingstone, Boart Longyear or Qubex equipment;
- Underground experience is preferred, but not exclusive to mechanical areas;
- Components of rebuild or hydraulic diagnosis experience is highly regarded.
