A Senior Hydrographic and Data Specialist Role

Job Description:

This is a key position in our Water Management Team where you will be responsible for providing reliable hydrological, meteorological, and environmental data monitoring systems.

The role includes selecting fit-for-purpose equipment, system design, integration, commissioning, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for the transmission, storage, and presentation of data to our clients.

You will work with a team that relies on each other in the field, ensuring seamless delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Selecting and implementing data monitoring equipment
  2. Designing and integrating systems for efficient data collection and presentation
  3. Commissioning and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance
  4. Providing high-quality data to clients in a timely manner
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years' experience in remote field installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of data monitoring instrumentation and telemetry equipment
  • Experience in minor civil works
  • Australian drivers license (preferably manual)
  • Construction White Card
  • Confident ability to swim
  • Undertaking or completed recognized tertiary qualification, diploma, or certificate in civil, building, electrical, electronics/comms, environmental, or computer science
