Job Description

As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to our residents at all times. This is a key position within the organisation where you will support the coordination of care to ensure individual needs, wishes, and goals are met within a supportive environment.

This role involves working closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care across the home. You will be responsible for leading/supervising care on the shift, within your designated wing or area, and performing medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation, and policies.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, and be able to provide social and emotional support to all residents. They will also need to be an effective listener, with the ability to understand and use information technology and programs, and learn new skills as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with appropriate qualifications;
  • A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness;
  • Effective listening and communication skills;
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs;
  • Ability to learn new skills as required.
