
Permit Coordinator

This role involves managing and controlling the Permit to Work system on site to ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with regulatory and company safety standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and overseeing the PTW system, reviewing permit applications for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring appropriate risk assessments are attached and adequate control measures are implemented.
- Administering and overseeing the PTW system to ensure permits are correctly issued, authorized, and closed.
- Reviewing permit applications for completeness, accuracy, and safety compliance.
- Ensuring appropriate risk assessments (JSA, HIRA, etc.) are attached and adequate control measures are implemented.
- Coordinating with operations, maintenance, and contractors to ensure safe execution of high-risk work such as hot work, confined space entry, working at height, electrical isolation, excavation, and lifting activities.
- Maintaining a permit log and tracking system for all ongoing and completed work.
- Conducting site inspections to ensure work under permit is carried out as per safety procedures and permit conditions.
We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong knowledge of Permit to Work systems and associated risk control measures. The ideal candidate will have:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- NEBOSH IGC / OSHA Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE or PTW coordination role in an industrial or construction environment.
