Regional Information Security Manager APAC

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Security Manager to lead our APAC region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security engineering and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security Engineering across the Australian business and overseeing APAC.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned security professional to join our team and make a significant impact on our organization's security posture. As the Regional Information Security Manager, you will work closely with in-country programs and leadership, in-country program and physical security, Corporate Information Security (CIS), and International IT teams to ensure appropriate and consistent security controls are implemented within the Australian/regional IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement security engineering and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security Engineering across the Australian business and oversee APAC.
- Work closely with in-country programs and leadership, in-country program and physical security, Corporate Information Security (CIS), and International IT teams to ensure appropriate and consistent security controls are implemented within the Australian/regional IT environments.
- Lead and manage projects/programs and teams to drive efficiency, innovation, and excellence across all Security functions and operations at the organisational level.
- Ensure compliance with commonwealth certification/accreditation processes and Australian/regional IT landscape, country-specific cyber security and privacy laws, cultural norms, in-country programs and program needs.
- Working knowledge and understanding of commonwealth certification/accreditation processes.
- Experience in managing projects/programs and teams.
- Experience in a similar position.
- Sound understanding of Defence infrastructure systems.
- Knowledge of Australian/regional IT landscape, country-specific cyber security and privacy laws, cultural norms, in-country programs and program needs.
