About the Role

This is a pivotal position within our organization, requiring an individual to provide high-level administrative support to a project team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of a high-profile project by providing governance and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to established governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Documentation Support: Assist in preparing and reviewing governance documentation, including project status reports, steering committee papers, and briefing notes.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that governance requirements are met and maintained.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the preparation, review, and distribution of project documentation, including reports, plans, and presentations.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Registers and Records Management: Support the development and maintenance of project registers, including risk, issue, and decision registers, and provide records management support for the project team.
Essential Requirements
  • Project Experience: Demonstrated experience in providing project support within a complex environment, preferably within the public sector.
  • Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: High-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Requirements
  • Driver's License: Current holder of a Class C driver's license.
  • Infrastructure Project Experience: Experience working on large infrastructure projects.
