Event Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the success of major sporting events.

  • This role will be responsible for the end-to-end management and delivery of catering operations at large-scale events, including planning, logistics, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food and hospitality operations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will also be able to work effectively in fast-paced environments and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supplier relationships.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of event operations.
  • Coordinate operational requirements, including site access, kitchen setup, and POS system management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including catering partners, restaurant vendors, and precinct stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in large-scale catering or major event environments.
  • Strong knowledge of food and hospitality operations, including front and back of house requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
