About the RoleThe Senior Clinical Nurse Consultant provides expert clinical advice and support to patients, carers and other healthcare professionals in partnership with other specialties and multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include developing evidence-based models of care, evaluating care management practices, and utilising current best evidence-based practices in the provision of care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients, carers and other healthcare professionals
- Develop evidence-based models of care to support contemporary patient care
- Evaluate care management practices and implement improvements
- Utilise current best evidence-based practices in the provision of care
- Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
