Job Description:

The Sydney Local Health District is seeking a medical professional to provide diagnostic and consultative services in Gastroenterology/Hepatology at Canterbury Hospital. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality specialty services, ensuring the highest standards of professional performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities under the General Medicine Department and The Canterbury Hospital.
  • To participate in the Gastroenterology/Liver consultant roster, including inpatient consults and the Liver Clinic for ambulatory care.

Key Requirements:

  • Registered or eligible with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Gastroenterology) or equivalent specialist recognition.
