As a Medical Officer in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for delivering patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical support during code blue incidents for the inpatient medical unit
  • Participate in a 24/7 roster to staff the Emergency Department
  • Efficiently initiate discharge processes at the earliest opportunity
  • Compose accurate and comprehensive discharge letters or summaries
  • Conduct effective handovers of patient care during shift changes
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent degree
  • Be fully registered with the relevant health authority
  • Have experience working in an Emergency Department, as well as some paediatric patient management experience

This is a flexible position offering casual work arrangements.
