Our approach includes strategic partnerships with Hospital Health Services to outsource emergency department management.

We are currently looking for Emergency Registrars/ACEM Advanced Trainees to join our Caduceus group as a locum/contractor at Mater Private Hospital Springfield to provide after hours medical ward call services to current inpatients. General duties include providing medical support to the VMO/nursing staff, reviewing patients as required for any acute deterioration or escalation of care during the after hours period and attend and team lead MET/Code blue in the hospital.
- The shifts are Weekdays 6pm-7am, Weekends/public Holidays 24hr 8am-8am.
- FACEM/Consultant level oncall support is provided.
- Private oncall room with bed/study area, meals and onsite parking provided.

Successful clinicians will;
- Greater than 3 PGY, with previous experience in critical care discipline (Anaesthetics/Emergency/ICU)
- ALS/PLS, Advanced airway management, invasive line insertion (CVL/IAL), BASICs course (or similar).
- Be a team player;
- Demonstrate accountability and integrity.
- Engagement and participation in quality improvement activities.

Pay: From $100.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Shift work
