We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team in shaping public perception and engagement with significant projects within the public transport and rail space.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating community engagement initiatives, developing and implementing effective communication strategies, and providing strategic communications advice to project managers and teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating community engagement initiatives for projects within the public transport and rail space
  • Developing and implementing best practice communication and engagement strategies to engage various communities and key stakeholders
  • Producing tailored communication tools and materials for different audiences
  • Liaising with contractors and consultants to gather required information and review material produced by them
  • Developing and implementing communication strategies, activities, procedures, and policies to achieve strategic objectives

  • Developing and implementing effective communication strategies and procedures
  • Providing strategic communications advice to project managers and teams
  • Community engagement, media relations, issues management, public affairs, and stakeholder relationship management
