Ventora Glass QLD operates a site in Yatala with a range of processes including cutting, finishing, heat treatment and coating glass using both semi and fully automatic machinery.
- Provide high-quality maintenance on a range of machines in a safe manner.
- Conduct machine inspections, installation and improvement works.
- Fault find and rectify production stopping issues quickly and safely.
- Work with a CMMS system and record data.
In return, we are offering a competitive hourly rate to be reviewed after probation, regular overtime, an Employee Assistance Program, tool allowance every 3 months and an extra day off for your birthday.
Requirements- A minimum of 3 years well-rounded experience as a Maintenance Fitter or in the servicing of machinery.
- Be trade qualified in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- All-round mechanical ability including fitting, welding, minor fabrication and small machining works.
- A safety-first work ethic.
- Pride in your work.
- A strong team player.
- Maintain and improve our plant equipment to ensure high levels of productivity.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
